One thing briefly alluded to is that our highest scoring games feel a little empty. That's the trade-off you make for having a game worth playing. Its a built in handicap system: who wants to play a game where the same few bores, complete with their toilet breaks, are sitting at number one all day long? Very few people is the answer btw.Īll those other players, not the handful of mods, are accepting that sometimes you can get the rough end of the stick at this game snakes appear from nowhere and BAMM! thats it! But the good thing is, that you can get a load of kills as well, and get in some tight scrapes, because there are loads of players that are just as vulnerable as you are. Not only that, but the game gets significantly harder when you get large, this is probably the biggest thing the game has going for it, as it holds the good players back somewhat and limits their ability to act like ****s to the rest. That tit Howse did put a bit of thought into it to be fair. Big snakes have a little more time to react when a little snake appears on screen, but its still a fair game because they are not as agile. ![]() When large you can see more, but have the turning circle of a cruise ship that's what makes the game. The way slither works is, when you're small you have very limited vision, but can change direction really quickly. I play slither, I don't know what the game the mods play is called. ![]() The logic behind this rule might be sound given a particular problem that the wall's existence brings up, but it seems to me we'd be much better off with a round Slither earth that had you entering the North upon exiting the Southern border instead of falling off the edge of the world. I know of no great counter-measures against players who circle along the border or very near to it, and when you force a death through the wall you can get no points from it. Other than the lag and hackability that Slither is notorious for, I'd say its biggest drawback is the wall. Wormatio has nice touches too that I wouldn't have thought to ask for, like a quiet vacuum cleaner way of eating (for those who like calm) and displaying the number of points that a dot is worth. I might take Wormatio minus its cheesy flooring, if not for Slither's ingenious structure that makes smaller snakes the real bullies. Slither tops out in its visual display of size differences whereas Wormatio doesn't seem to have any problem scaling between humongous and tiny. I wonder if I'd have fallen in love with Wormatio if Slither hadn't gotten me first. If you manage to keep your worm wandering around long enough, you'll start showing up in the ranking of users with the biggest worms. ![]() The downside is that, your own worm can also end up running into another worm and be reduced into sweets just as easily. And the bigger your worm, the more possibilities you'll have for other worms to run into you so you can eat their remains and get even bigger. The more sweets and cakes you eat, the bigger your worm will grow. In this case, you have to eat as many sweets and desserts as you possibly can. Here, you have to move around a map that's plagued with other worms and your goal is to become the biggest worm of them all. Wormate.io is a multiplayer arcade game that's similar to Agar.io and Slither.io.
